Freehand sketches

In the first stage of the design process, the architect gets to know the client’s ideas, so it can get outlined, what kind of style and arrangement the client wants. Thereafter “only” the realization is left. Before getting into the details, it’s worth the find out a design concept. Beyond the client’s needs, the local regulation must be taken into account, which gives guidance on the building height, floor area ratio, proportion of the green surfaces and the position of the building (construction lines). At this stage, will be decided the building’s shape, the roof structure, whether to build basement and terrace, and roughly what kind of rooms are needed in the house.
